What is e-Learning?
The term "e-Learning" (electronic learning) covers a wide set of applications and processes, such as Web-based learning, computer-based learning, virtual classrooms, and digital collaboration. It includes the delivery of content via Internet, intranet/extranet, audio and video, satellite broadcast, interactive TV, CD-ROM, and more.
Organisations are increasingly finding that it is their people who can provide them with discernible and sustainable competitive advantage. This advantage can only be achieved by investing in continuous learning and development, and by ensuring the development of skills, behaviours and beliefs that are needed to drive the business forward.
However, this can prove to be a very costly exercise. We know that traditional approaches to training and development can come with high travel and/or accommodation costs. Also, with pressure on training budgets and a lack of time for traditional classroom events, e-Learning is now widely accepted as a more efficient and effective way of developing individuals.
When applied in the right way, e-Learning can bring about enormous performance improvements in a very cost-effective way.
We work with a wide variety of organisations, helping them to realise both cost savings and real return on investment by supporting them in the implementation of effective e-Learning solutions.
